What is Varsity Co?

As a high school varsity coach, I have had similar questions from players and their families year after year. They are all looking to improve their game and find ways to be the best player they can be on the court. They are often asking questions about where they can find the best training outside of the season. A quick google search will show you the countless options and huge number of trainers available everywhere. It is overwhelming. There is no way to immediately know who is going to work best for you, who has fair pricing, who is providing a safe environment, etc. High School coaches and Collegiate assistants would love to do these training services, but often do not have the know how to get it started, what rules they have to follow, or how to even let people know that they are available for training. These are the coaches that know exactly what it takes to succeed at the high school level. These are the coaches that know what skills translate, how to teach them, and why they are teaching them. We all wish we had more time in the season to teach these skills, but it just isn’t possible. That is the vision behind Varsity Co. We want to allow high school coaches and college assistants to be able to be a part of the entire athletic journey for our athletes instead of just the in season when time is so limited. We want families and players to have a single place where they know they can find trusted coaching that are already direct members of the local sports communities. No one better fits that filter than those that are already coaching interscholastic sports. Varsity Co is here to provide a central place for these interscholastic coaches to go and offer their services for those looking to go above and beyond to grow their game.
